Govt of West Bengal, Department of Higher Education has issued a notification No. 83-Edn.(T)/10M-48/14, Dated 28.02.2014 for introduction of Online Admission into Under Graduate Courses (Honours and General) from Academic Year 2014-2015. The decision has been taken keeping in view of the difficulties and physical hardship being faced by students seeking admission to under-graduate (UG) courses in the state. Thats why the west bengal government decided to introduce online admissions procedure, which is transparent, and very much convenient for the students. So, the govt is going to implement Merit Base online admissions procedure for the under graduate courses for the academic year 2014-2015. Government Colleges,
Government-aided colleges, University Colleges, Universities which run UG courses, and the like shall fall within the scope of this exercise.

16th Lok Sabha Elections 2014 Schedule Notification Dates

The Election Commission of India (ECI) is going to announce Lok Sabha Elections 2014 Schedule in the 1st week of March 2014. The 2014 Parliament Elections will likely to be conducted in 6 or 7 stages this year. Earlier Elections were conducted in 5 stages in 2009 elections. Election code will come into effect immediately after the commission has announced the schedule. Detailed notification can be downloaded from the official ECI website www.eci.nic.in.
General Elections 2014 will likely be held from 3rd week of April. 78 crore people will cast their vote in this year elections across India. About 8,00,000 polling booths and about 12,00,000 EVMs (Electronic Voting Mechines) will be used for this. Elections will be held to select 543 members. 15th Lok Sabha Tenure will come to an end by May 31 2014. So the next house (16th Lok Sabha) has to be formed by June 1st.

AP State Govt, General Administrative Department has issued a G.O Ms.No.433 dated 4th August 2010 for International Women's Day Special Casual Leave for the women employees who are working in the state government. This G.O was released in the year 2010. AP secretariat women employees welfare association has given a representation to the state government to declare Special Casual Leave for all the women employees who are working in the Andhra Pradesh. This G.O can be downloaded from the internet. How ever some DDO's are not accepting this and saying women employees will get this leave only if they participate in any cultural events being organized on the account of International Women's Day.

7th Pay Commission Gazette Notification 2014. 7th Central Pay Commission Gazette Notification.
Govt of India, Ministry of Finance has published the7th Pay Commission Gazette Notification 2014. Justice Shri Ashok Kumar Mathur has been appointed as chairman of the 7th pay commission with Sri Vivek Rae, Dr.Rathin Roy and Smt Meena Agarwal as members. The committee has been formed with the above members. Central Govt employees, All India services employees, officers and employees of the audit and accounts department will be benefited from the Seventh Pay Commission report.

2.The terms of reference of the commission will be as fallows

To examine, review, evolve and recommend changes that are desirable and feasible regarding the principles that should govern the emoluments structure including pay, allowances and other facilities/benefits, in cash or kind, having regard to rationalization and simplification therein as well as the specialized needs of various Departments, agencies and services, in respect of the following categories of employees:-
1. Central Government employees-industrial and non-industrial;
2. Personnel belonging to the All India Services;
3. Personnel of the Union Territories;
4. Officers and employees of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department;
5. Members of regulatory bodies (excluding the Reserve Bank of India) set up under Acts of Parliament; and
6. Officers and employees of the Supreme Court.

Supreme Court today directed the AP State Govt and Election Commission, Andhra Pradesh to issue ZPTC (Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency) MPTC (Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency) Election Notification with in 2 days time. AP State Govt, Panchayat Raj Department will release MPTC/ZPTC/Panchayat Elections reservations. The whole process will likely be started by the end of this month. Municipal Elections, AP State Assembly and Lok Sabha Elections are scheduled to be conducted in the months of March, April and May. The Andhra Pradesh State Election commission was formed in June 1994. The first Local body elections for the Municipalities and Panchayats were held in March 1995. Further all the CEOs (Chief Executive Officers) of Zilla Praja Parishads to prepare the photo electoral rolls of their respective Zilla Praja Parishads ZPTC wise and display a copy on the notice board of their respective offices on 10th March 2014.
The commission has given these directions for the preparation of and publication of photo electoral rolls of gram panchayats, Mandal Praja Parishads, Zilla Praja Parishads for the purpose of conduct of ordinary elections to MPTCs and ZPTCs so as to enable the newly enrolled voters to participate in voting.

ORDER:
In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have introduced New Pension Scheme (CPS) to the AP Government employees who were appointed on or after 01.09.2004. In the G.O. 2nd read above,
Government have issued operational guidelines. In the New Pension scheme each employee shall pay a monthly contribution of 10% basic Pay + DA from his salary and the Government will contribute an equal
amount as its share.
2. In the reference 3rd read above the Provident Fund Regulatory Development Authority (PFRDA) has proposed an interim procedure and accordingly the Government in the reference 4th read above, have
issued instructions of interim procedure pending finalization of the Guidelines.
3. In the reference 5th read above the Director of Treasuries and Accounts (DTA) has requested to consider the guidelines as proposed by the PFRDA and requested to issue orders on withdrawal procedures consequent to instructions issued vide reference 4th read above.
4. Government, after careful consideration of the matter, hereby prescribe the Exit guidelines and the procedures to be followed by the stake holders for submitting and forwarding exit / withdrawal proposals as per the guidelines contained in Annexure-I and II enclosed herewith. Accordingly Government hereby withdraw the instructions issued in the Circular Memo 4th read above. However, if any payments are made in the past, they have to be adjusted against the accumulated funds in CPS.
5. All the Drawing and Disbursing Officers and Treasury Officers are requested to take necessary action immediately.

Voter ID or Voter ID Card is required to cast your vote. Voter ID card Status can be found online. Voter List (Electoral Rolls) of all states are now available online. Candidates who have applied for a Voter Card, can track voter id card status at the respective state election commission websites. Voter Id Card is required to cast your vote in the general elections in India which are scheduled to be held in April and May 2014
