MPTC ZPTC Elections Nominations Schedule 2014. MPTC ZPTC Voter List. MPTC/ZPTC Election Results 2014. MPTC ZPTC Elections Notification 2014. AP Election Commission has released MPTC ZPTC Elections Notification and Schedule for 2014. Nominations for MPTC/ZPTC will be accepted from March 17th to March 20th. The commission has released these elections Schedule as per the Supreme court directions. The following is the schedule.
Nominations: 17.03.2014 to 20.03.2014
Nominations Observation: 21.03.2014
Last date for withdrawal of Nominations: 24.03.2014
Polling Date: 6th April 2014.
Re Polling Date (If required): 7.04.2014
Votes Counting Date: 8.04.2014
MPTC/ZPTC Elections will be conducted by the ballot papers system. Electronic Voting Mechines (EVM) will not be used for these elections in this year. MPTC ZPTC Voter List will soon be declared by the concerned district officers. These elections will be held in a single phase polling.
50% seats are reserved for women, as a result woman candidates will get 11 ZPs, 549 MPP seats, 553 ZPTC Seats, 8622 MPTC seats.
White Ballot Paper will be used for ZPTC, and Pink ballot paper will be used for MPTC elections

The state government of west bengal, with the objective of promoting the welfare of state govt employees and improve their health and housing benefits has decided to introduce the following measures.
1.The state government has decided to introduce a new housing scheme named "Akanksha" for providing house building loan to the state govt employees with an initial provision of Rs100 Crore.
The state govt will provide land for housing free of cost in different locations. The employees will either construct their own house after obtaining loans from the state government or banks or financial institution or have govt agencies built on their behalf. The eligibility criteria and the detailed procedure will be later issued by the finance department.

Lok Satty Party has released its manifesto for elections 2014. Lok Satta party will be contesting in 110 Municipalities, and 8 Municipal Corporations in Andhra Pradesh. The Lok Satta Party is promising citizen-centric governance in its manifesto for the 2014 municipal elections.

In its election manifesto released by the Party national President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan here today, the party points out that although people pay taxes and elect representatives to govern them, their living conditions in towns and cities continue to be deplorable. There is no guaranteed supply of safe drinking water. Sanitation is neglected. Roads remain pot-holed and streets, dark. Education and healthcare in Government-run institutions are not attended to. Corruption is all-pervasive

The Lok Satta Party manifesto envisages formation of ward committees and an annual per capita grant of Rs.1000. As a result, a ward committee representing a population of 4000 will get a grant of Rs.2 crore in five years.
